To watch HDTV in your home you will need a TV set that is HD ready or Full HD, your TV dealer will be able to advise on this. An HDTV bought in the UK or France will be suitable, but for best results a screen of more that 26" will be required (66cm)
Freesat and Sky both offer HD satellite receivers, To use a Sky HD digibox or the Freesat PVR, your satellite dish will need to have the facility to connect two or more cables, as they need two feeds for the functions to operate correctly. (The Sky HD and Freesat PVR receivers work in the same way as the Sky+ box and are able to record one program whilst you watch another. The Freesat HD without the PVR only needs one feed.)
